Hey! i'm back again to give you another Online Business Idea, today i will be writing about Online Currency Trading and E- Payment. This is also another very lucrative online business that you can easily take
advantage of. Actually, right now in Nigeria, lots of people desire to make
purchases over the internet but their major problem lies in a medium of
These are two different opportunities open to you in this
E-gold trading
Making overseas purchases for people.

E-gold trading: e-gold is an electronic payment solution that it’s value
is actually based on the day to day prices or real gold.
E-gold is the preferred method of accepting payments online in Nigeria, and
in most countries where credit cards and other electronic payment options
are not readily obtainable. Because of its prominence and timeliness, you
can make quite some money trading e-gold.

Trading e-gold means serving as a broker (just like a foreign currency trader
in a bureau de change). You both accept payments in Naira, then send an
equivalent amount of e-gold to the person who paid (sell) and also accept
e-gold from people, then pay them in Naira (buy).
Just like a bank or a company that exchanges foreign currencies, your profit
comes from the rates at which you both sell and buy.

Presently, a dollar exchanges for about N163 but e-gold traders sell as high as N194 to a dollar. This means that; at N163 to a dollar, your profit for each dollar you sell is about N31. The value N31 might not seem much to you but bear in mind that mostly people do not buy e-gold of less than N3000 at a go. This means that at N3, 000 your profit from a single sale is roughly N580. Now imagine when you sell to 10 or even a 100 people in a day – that’s about
N5800 and N58000 in profits respectively.

Opening an e-gold account is free and does not take time. You can open one
right now at their website:
Please bear in mind that every business venture requires some time and work dedicated to before it will work.
Here are some Nigerian based e-gold companies you can model yourself after, you can start with or

Finally, another profitable strategy you can use, is to have one or more
products for sale on the internet and then to accept payment for it using e-gold
– where you are the dealer.

How and where to buy e-gold at wholesale prices is the tricky part in trading e-gold. A good place to buy e-gold at wholesale prices is at: or You pay them by wire transfer.

International Purchasing Services: This is  another good
opportunity you can  take advantage of if you have the means. Lots of
Nigerians desire to buy some of the items they regularly come across on
the internet. Now most of those shops offering them are mostly in the U.S. and
this makes it very difficult – because of a means of payment.

So, if you have a relation or a friend who resides in the U.S or in Europe –
where they can easily purchase those items, then you can talk to them if they
are serious, and then go into the business of making overseas purchases for

If this sounds unrealistic to you, then you should know that lots of
People are already doing it. A good example  is the Nigerian website: and

Blogging As A Source Of Income

Hi Peeps
I am here again today and i'm going to be writing on Blogging and how to make an income with it. Blogging is another means of online income, if you've not been able to read my previous post on Online Business Ideas you can read it from the blog archive. If you want to make money through blogging, creating a popular blog is the key to success. If your blog receives very little traffic, you will not have much success monetizing it. No matter which method you use to make money from your blog, you will find the most success if you have a large readership. Because of this, making your blog popular and growing readership should be one of your primary concerns.

There are many ways to make your blog more popular. The first thing you should consider is who your audience is and who you are writing for. You should always write about something that interests you, and that will interest others. It is best to find a niche audience that is large enough to support a wide readership but not too vague. You may think a particular niche is of great interest to you, but it may not be so to others.

One of the great things about blogging is that you do not have to be a professional writer to have a popular blog. You do have to obey common grammatical rules and at least be able to put together coherent sentences, but you do not have to be a highly skilled writer.

Blog readers are looking for interesting, relevant topics to read, that will be of use to them. Make sure what you write is interesting, edgy, or even controversial. Popular blogs are never boring and add value to reader’s lives either through information or entertainment. Make sure your blog adds something of value to your reader’s life otherwise you will not develop a large fan base

Making your blog popular is a lot like driving traffic to a website. You can use many of the same techniques to drive traffic to your blog. Finding places to link back to your blog is a good way to drive traffic. Social sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and You tube provide lots of opportunities for this. You can also use social book marking sites such as Reddit, StumbleUpon, and Digg to promote your blog. Blogging on a popular blog site such as Wordpress and Blogger are also good ways to make your blog more popular as these blogging sites help to bring in traffic for your blog.

Whether you blog on a blogging network or you have an independently hosted blog, you need to make sure your blog is designed well. It is true that content is king and if a blog has great content it may receive lots of traffic even though it is ugly, having a well-designed blog that is not ugly or annoying will help to drive repeat traffic. You want your blog to look unique, but not too unique. Keep with internet formalities such as blue links and use large font for headings.

You should break your post up into small paragraphs each with a headline if possible as internet readers tend to scan the screen looking for relevant information rather than reading everything word for word. Make sure your colors do not contrast too harshly and that the text is easy to read. Using good design will make your blog aesthetically pleasing and make readers more likely to come back and remain on your page.

No matter where your blog is hosted, you should try to get it indexed by all the major search engines. Some forms of blog monetization require that your blog be indexed by search engines before they will allow you to participate in their program. The higher ranked your blog is, the more visitors you will receive and the more popular your blog will become, before you try to implement your monetization strategies, make sure your blog has enough readers to make your efforts work. If there is no one to click your ads, visit your affiliate sites, or read your reviews, you do not stand much of a chance of making money.

Now that you know how to make your blog popular, it is time to profit from it. One of the best ways to monetize your blog is Adsense, and this advertising program will work with just about any blog and if you receive enough traffic, it can be very lucrative.

Adsense puts relevant ads on your blog after you sign up and insert a few lines of code into your blog; this requires some basic HTML knowledge and a blog that allows you to modify the HTML. Don’t be intimidated, it is easy to do. The good thing about Adsense is that the ads are displayed based on the content of your blog, so readers only see ads that will likely appeal to them, increasing the chances that they will click on them.

Adsense operates by pairing relevant ads with your content. As long as your blog has enough content to support a few text ads, you will be able to run a few non-intrusive ads along the side of your blog. You will need to have a blog that allows you to add a few lines of HTML code into your blog in order to use Adsense. If your blog is hosted independently, chances are you will be able to make the necessary modifications. If you blog on a network or on another site, you will have to check to see if it is compatible with Adsense, many are.

To get started with Adsense, go to and sign up. It is free to use Adsense and if you have an existing Google account you can use it as your Adsense account as well. Signing up with Adsense is free.
You then choose what type of ads you want displayed on your blog. You have the choice of text ads that run along the top, side, or bottom of your blog or graphic ads that display an ad with a picture on your blog, either in a size like a banner ad or in a smaller size.

Adsense is a cost per click advertising program, which means that every time that a visitor clicks on an ad in your blog you get paid. Google does not disclose exactly how much you make for each click before you sign up, but you can track your daily, weekly and monthly earnings once you have started running Adsense and calculate how much you are making per click.

If you do not have a large readership base, most types of monetization on your blog will probably not be successful and Adsense is no exception. The more people you have clicking your ads, the more money you make. Earnings will vary widely depending on how many visitors you receive and if your blog is very popular you can make a good income from Adsense alone.

There are plenty of other advertising options if you do not want to go with Adsense. A search for “Adsense alternatives” will net you a long list of other advertising opportunities.
Some work in much the same way as Adsense, others provide inline ads or banners. You should try a few different advertising programs to see which one works the best for your blog.
Some advertising programs work same way as Adsense and display text ads; others display contextual ads, the double underline words in the body of your text, and others work with graphic ads.

You can also use your blog to market an affiliate program or product to know more about affiliate program or marketing check this blog archive.

Affiliate Marketing

Hi all, I welcome you today to my post on Affiliate Marketing on my teachings on how to earn an income online.

Affiliate marketing is actually based on a very simple concept. It’s all about helping the myriad of businesses who market their products and services online sell them, and you in turn earning commissions (a percentage) for each product or service you help them sell. Affiliate marketing is really very straight forward; sell something to somebody and earn a commission in return. Sounds very uninteresting right?
You will ask, ‘what’s the difference from someone who opens a shop across the street or even in the market?’ By telling you that this method of making money on the internet is still by selling something then where's the difference from selling offline? Now know the difference. The difference lies in the potential reach of the different markets you both operate in. Your neighbours market is limited to the people in his immediate vicinity, while yours is not. Your market is everybody who has access to an internet connected computer anywhere in
the world! Got it?
This proposition sounds very simple, but it will require lots of imagination to see all the possibilities that it has for you. Presently, there are about 1 billion people with access to the internet (which is constantly increasing), and this makes the Internet the world’s largest marketplace. It is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. There are no weekends, no public holidays and no strikes! So let’s kick-off!

Welcome to the lucrative world of Affiliate marketing. In the simplest terms, this is what happens - You send people to someone else's website. They buy something or sign up for something (i.e. fill out a form or survey) and you are paid a commission. It is a revenue sharing arrangement set up between companies selling products or services and affiliates (you). You are rewarded for sending
customers to the company's website (and in most cases who eventually buy).
These pay-per-sale or pay-per-lead programs are easy to join. In an affiliate program, a company (website) pays you to generate sales for them from your pay-per-click advert, banner, newsletter or email. There are thousands of companies that will pay you commissions for the sales or leads you generate for them.
To join an affiliate program is totally free and easy to do. You are not required to buy and stock the product (as in distributorships). It just involves filling out a form – just as you do when you sign-up for an email account. Affiliate marketing is the ideal way to quickly and easily make money online as you do not need to come up with your own product or service. All you need
do is choose a way to promote someone else's product or service effectively. You can actually begin making money in as little as 15 minutes!

In some affiliate programs, the persons you refer to a website do not even need to buy anything. If they fill out a form, request a free report or download  software for trial, you get paid. There are several web sponsors that have several of these pay-per-lead programs.

To start basically, what you need to do is to drive internet traffic to a website or company that you partner with. How you do this does not matter, it could be from a banner advert on your website, a link in your e-mail, your newsletter or from an advert in a pay-per-click search engine e.g ( You can also promote Affiliate Programs through Facebook ads ( and using Google ad words.

Google Ad Words is a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising system run by Google. This is presently the best advertising system developed by man so far as you are only charged when and only when someone clicks on your advert. Google Ad Words appear as little text ads on the right of your search results on

You write Google Ad Words ads promoting a company’s product or service. In your Google Ad Words ad is a link, and when your Ad Words ad is clicked this link contains information about you and shows that the visitor came through you. When the user gets to the site you are promoting, your affiliate ID is registered automatically. Now when the customer buys something or fills out a form on the site, you are paid a commission.
However, if the customer does not buy at the time, you do not need to worry as many merchant sites place small programs called "cookies" on the customers computer for as long as 180 days which is about 6 months. This means that if that customer comes back to the site on a later date and makes a purchase or registers for
something, you still get your commission.

Things you need:
Access to the internet (a cafe is very OK).
A few hours of work weekly.
A credit or debit card (You can get this from most Nigerians Banks)
A domiciliary account.
